Design Concept

Docomo envisions building with commitment and passion for its home owners by taking unprecedented measures to ensure a harmonious and sustainable living environment.

Docomo willingly sacrificed the profit of building and selling approximately 10 units of terrace houses (land size of 2,043,6m2 or 0.5 acre) in order to develop a 393m length x 5.2m width x 4.72m depth monsoon drain inside the development at its own cost.

This RM3.1 million monsoon drain is constructed in line with the local government’s blueprint of flood mitigation and drainage upgrading plan.

The land loss due to this particular work is valued at approximately RM6.8 million, excluding the aforementioned construction cost of RM3.1 million.

This extra effort by Docomo has added considerable value to Taman Putra Pogun by keeping it free from flood during the monsoon season and the accompanying flooding that occurs in the vicinity during this period.
